On 6 December 2022, a chapter in aeronautics closed: Boeing announced the release from the Everett assembly plants of the very last Boeing 747. 🎤 “A 747-8 Cargo aircraft will be delivered to the US airline Atlas Air Worldwide in early 2023. With a length of 76.3 metres, the 747-8 is the world’s longest commercial aircraft. It will be dethroned by the 777-9, which is scheduled to enter service in 2025” © Jean-Marc Fron, Managing Director Boeing France.
